The Hinton MAPP Gas Cylinder 400g is a high-performance gas designed for brazing, soldering, and heating applications. Producing a hotter flame than standard propane, this gas reaches temperatures of up to 1982°C, and when combined with oxygen, it can achieve up to 2927°C. This makes it ideal for high-temperature tasks such as brazing and swift soldering, even in challenging conditions.
The cylinder is crafted from durable, impact-resistant steel, ensuring safety and reliability during use. With a 1" valve connection, it is compatible with a wide range of gas blow torches, including the Rothenberger SuperFire 2, Swivel Pro Torch, and Flametech kits. This makes it a versatile choice for HVAC and plumbing professionals who rely on precision and performance in their tools.
Key advantages of the Hinton MAPP gas include exceptional burning performance in cold weather, a 20% higher heat output than propane, and reduced gas consumption for increased efficiency. Additionally, it conforms to European Standard EN12205, guaranteeing quality and safety. Orders placed before 16:00 with next working day/timed services will be dispatched the same day (Monday to Friday). Orders placed after 16:00 will not be dispatched until the next working day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or bank holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. "Next working day" means Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Orders placed with any of the services below will not be delivered on a Saturday or Sunday.
We aim to despatch all orders with standard services within two working days, as long as all items are in stock.
