Product Description

Solstice ze (R1234ZE) is an ultra low GWP (7), energy-efficient alternative to traditional refrigerants for air-cooled and water-cooled chillers in a range of applications and have already been used in supermarkets and commercial buildings.

How does Solstice ze compare to R134A?

Solstice ze has a slightly lower cooling performance compared to R134A but good energy efficiency making it an ideal ultra low GWP alternative to R134A in new equipment. Solstice ze does have the safety classification A2L due to its low flammability at elevated temperatures but is classed under the PE(S)R, CLP package and labelling and ADR transport regulations as non-flammable. It should only be used in systems specifically designed for Solstice ze.

*Please note that orders to the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scottish Isles, the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Isles will incur a carriage surcharge.

Orders placed before 16:00 with next working day/timed services will be dispatched the same day (Monday to Friday). Orders placed after 16:00 will not be dispatched until the next working day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or bank holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. "Next working day" means Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Orders placed with any of the services below will not be delivered on a Saturday or Sunday.

We aim to despatch all orders with standard services within two working days, as long as all items are in stock.

  • FREE Local next working day - Within a 15-mile radius of RG14 2EZ, when ordered before 16:00.
  • Standard 2-3 working days
  • Express next working day - When ordered before 16:00
  • Next working day by 12:00 - When ordered before 16:00
  • Next working day by 10:30 - When ordered before 16:00



All orders are available for collection from our stores. Collection orders will typically be ready within 2 hours of the order being placed as long as all items are in stock at the time of order.
