DART Tool Group Premium HSS cobalt twist drill bit is designed for drilling into tougher metals where standard HSS bits struggle. Manufactured with an M35 steel shaft containing 5% cobalt, it is suitable for use in alloy steel, stainless steel, and other hard materials commonly encountered in engineering and fabrication work.
The bit features a 135° split point tip to support spot drilling without pre-centring, helping reduce walking on the material surface and improving accuracy at the start of drilling. The right hand cutting, Type N geometry is intended for continuous drilling through metal while requiring reduced drilling pressure.
Designed for durability, the cobalt construction provides excellent resistance to heat and wear, supporting longer service life when drilling at higher temperatures compared with standard HSS drill bits.

Orders placed before 16:00 with next working day/timed services will be dispatched the same day (Monday to Friday). Orders placed after 16:00 will not be dispatched until the next working day.
